Comic Con Africa 2023 Phase 1 Ticket Sales End on 30 June

Phase 1 of ticket sales for Comic Con Africa 2023 will close at the end of next month on 30 June. As it stands, phase 1 pricing currently goes for either R190 for a day pass or R660 for a full weekend pass. Starting from 1 July, Comic Con Africa will then enter phase 2 of ticket sales with prices being adjusted accordingly.

According to a recent press release, eager attendees will be able to purchase tickets in phase 1 from R190 a day or R660 for all four days of the event. Thereafter, phase 2 will begin from 1 July where ticket prices will then cost R200 for a day pass or R700 for a weekend pass. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets during phase 1 before the price increases.

Those who are eager to attend Comic Con Africa this year can look forward to plenty of festivities in pop, geek and gaming culture, including meeting local and international celebrity guests, artists, cosplayers and much more.

“By attending Comic Con Africa, fans will have the chance to meet some of their favorite actors, artists, and creators in autograph and photo sessions, attend informative and entertaining panels, showcase their cosplay skills, and explore the vast exhibitor halls filled with vendors offering collectibles, comics, gaming accessories, and much more,” reads the press release.

Expect more exciting announcements to happen in the coming weeks and months leading up to the annual event in September as well as reveals for attending celebrity guests, activities to take part in, stores and more. Like last year, the show will once again take place at the Johannesburg Expo Centre (Nasrec) over a long weekend.
