God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition Details Leak

I feel like God of War Ragnarok leaks are now a daily thing here on the site. For the past few days more and more information regarding the game has surfaced online and while Sony was originally meant to showcase something yesterday, the company reportedly delayed the announcement at the last minute. Now, it seems that details on Sony’s delayed announcement have surfaced online. The company was going to announce the God of War Ragnarok release date and unveil the Collector’s Edition.

According to Tom Henderson, the announcement delay was due to the fact that Sony still hasn’t nailed down an exact release date for God of War Ragnarok. He claims that Sony is still juggling between launching the game in October and November and considering what other games are releasing around the same time.

At the moment, it seems that God of War Ragnarok might release on 11 November. Not only does this fall between the “leaked” release date for Need for Speed: Unbound, which is supposedly set to launch on 4 November, but it also falls between Ubisoft’s Avatar game which is scheduled to launch on 18 November.

This 11 November release date has previously leaked through the Australian PlayStation Store. However, someone could have simply created this image after the recent report of the new launch date.

God of Wa Ragnarok

As for the God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition. It seems that Sony is going the same route as they went with Horizon Forbidden West and will release two Collector’s Editions in November. The one version will be called the God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition and the other is called the God of War Ragnarok Jotnar Edition.

Each version will come with a 1:1 scale replica of Thor’s Mjolnir hammer. However, the Jotnar Edition will also include other commodities such as badges, a world map, a larger artbook and more. Sony did the same thing for Horizon Forbidden West. The company released the Collector’s Edition which contained a Tremortusk replica and the Regalla Edition which had a tweaked Tremortusk with added accessories.

We don’t know when this news will officially go live. However, by the sound of things, Sony has everything ready to go so you can expect an announcement any hour now.
