The PlayStation Portal will launch in South Africa in early 2024. The remote play device will be released on 21 February in the country with pre-orders now open across retailers.
In South Africa, you’ll pay R5,499 for the $199 PlayStation Portal remote-play device which allows players to sync their PS5 consoles to display and play games without the need for a TV. The PlayStation Portal launched in November in the United States and a small handful of other regions. The slow global rollout means that other countries, including South Africa, will only get their hands on the device in 2024.
