PS5 Launch Games and Prices Revealed – Price Hike Confirmed

Sony has announced the PS5 launch lineup of games alongside the release date and price of the console. In addition, the company detailed its plans to release a select number of PlayStation 5 games on PS4 too. This includes Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Horizon: Forbidden West. But what can you play in November when you pick up your fancy new PlayStation 5 console? Well, besides the usual Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and other third-party games, there’s also a bunch of first-party titles too.

For starters, gamers are not going to be happy to know Sony has increased the price of its first-party lineup by $10. This means all triple-A games releasing on PS5 are listed at $69,99. In addition, the price hike means more expensive games in SA too. First-party titles are now going to set you back between R1,399 and R1,499.

Keep in mind that these games are available at launch meaning when the console releases here on 19 November 2020. It is going to be tough to avoid spoilers from those gamers in the US who are getting their consoles earlier on 12 November. I just want Demon’s Souls.
