Sony has announced the PS5 launch lineup of games alongside the release date and price of the console. In addition, the company detailed its plans to release a select number of PlayStation 5 games on PS4 too. This includes Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Horizon: Forbidden West. But what can you play in November when you pick up your fancy new PlayStation 5 console? Well, besides the usual Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and other third-party games, there’s also a bunch of first-party titles too.

Before we get to the games, make sure you catch up on the South African pricing for the PS5 console here as well as take a look at the official retail box and dimensions here. If you missed the showcase event where Final Fantasy XVI was announced then head here.

For starters, gamers are not going to be happy to know Sony has increased the price of its first-party lineup by $10. This means all triple-A games releasing on PS5 are listed at $69,99. In addition, the price hike means more expensive games in SA too. First-party titles are now going to set you back between R1,399 and R1,499.
