Microsoft is bringing out the big guns for its release of Starfield later this year. The game is set to launch on 6 September. After getting a detailed walkthrough during the Xbox Showcase event, the company announced a range of different game editions, pre-order incentives as well as a limited edition Xbox Controller and headset.

Starfield Pre-Order Bonuses
Everyone who pre-orders Starfield ahead of its launch on 6 September (which you’ll likely avoid due to it being an Xbox Game Pass launch title), will gain access to the Old Mars Skin Pack. This skin pack includes three items”

Currently, these Starfield game versions range between $99,99 and $299. The Premium Edition will set you back $99 and is only available in the digital version. The Constellation Edition is $299 and will release at retail. It is the Starfield Collector’s Edition and will come with a code in the box. The code is etched onto a Credit Stick.
Starfield Xbox Accessories
There are two accessories launching with Starfield later this year. A Limited Edition Starfield Xbox Controller and Headset. These can be purchased today ahead of the launch later this year. The design of both items follows the game’s spaceship theme with red and grey across the devices. There’s also some clear plastic on the headphone microphone and Xbox controller triggers.
The headset is the wireless version and retails for $124,99. The Xbox controller will set you back $99.
We are also waiting for confirmation on a local launch date and pricing for these accessories. They are available at retail starting today in the US but we’re not sure when they plan to release in South Africa.
