Riot Games is not wasting any time at all. The team are already prototyping the Valorant PS4 and Xbox One build. However, the team are not sure yet if the game will be the experience they want to deliver. Gamespot interviewed Riot Games Executive producer Anna Donlon. She explained that the core of Valorant is its “strong level of competitive integrity. In addition, the studio are concerned a console port will not capture that same “experience” for all players.

Anna goes on to reveal its not a no yet. The developers are “very excited” to prove the potential of the competitive shooter on consoles. However, the PC version was the priority. Should Riot Games confirm Valorant works for console including the PS4 and Xbox One, they will release it but it will not arrive anytime soon.
