We all saw it coming but Amazon has made it official. Fallout is getting a second season somewhere down the line. The studio confirmed that it has ordered more episodes of the popular live-action TV series which has been the only thing the internet was speaking about for the past two weeks.
There are no details yet on the specifics of Fallout season 2. Amazon did share how well the first season did. The studio says the Fallout TV series is now one of the most-watched shows on Prime sitting alongside Rings of Power. However, where it “sits” is unclear in the rankings. Amazon simply says it ranks among the service’s “top three most watched titles”.
We will unlikely get the second season anytime soon. Perhaps in early 2026? Given that the first season was produced in just over a year, it would seem likely.
The Fallout series has sparked major interest in the video game franchise around the world. Sales of the original Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 games have skyrocketed in certain regions. In the UK, Fallout 4 re-entered the top 10 boxed sales chart. Of course, the game is getting a “next-gen” upgrade next week.
Fallout 76, on the other hand, has seen a massive jump in player count with new and old players returning to Appalachia to survive the wasteland.
