Apex Legends Season 14 Hero, Trailer and Release Date Official Revealed

EA has officially revealed the Season 14 hero, trailer and release date for Apex Legends and it is an official confirmation on our report from yesterday which claimed the new hero was called Vantage. Season 14 of Apex Legends will launch on the 9th of August and will serve as the official entrance of Vantage.

Yesterday we reported that Vantage had been accidentally promoted on the Apex Legends client, where developer Respawn accidentally uploaded the character’s “Stories from the Outlands” video. Weirdly, players couldn’t actually watch the video as it seemed to be just an image but it still told the story of Vantage ahead of their official reveal.

Vantage’s appearance doesn’t come as a surprise but her official description by EA is still rather incredible and fits in wonderfully with Season 14’s title – Hunted.

“Born to a wrongfully convicted criminal who gave birth to her alone on the barren ice planet Págos, Vantage has grown into the ultimate survivalist. Accompanied only by her small winged companion Echo and forced to live off a hostile land, Vantage becomes unfathomably good with a scoped weapon.”

Apex Legends Season 14 will launch on the 9th of August and will bring an end to Season 13 titled Saviors which arrived back in May. Season 13 brought with it a new hero called Newcastle as well as other features.

Respawn is also currently working on a single-player FPS project set in the Apex Legends universe and is being developed with the principles of “mobility” and “style” which seem to fit into the Apex Legends arena rather well. The project is still yet to be officially announced and it was only thanks to a job listing that we know any details.
