Baldur’s Gate 3 Will Get More Evil Endings

Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian Studios says it’s currently working on more evil endings for the game. The studio recently revealed that it will not develop any DLC or sequel, though it hasn’t stopped the flow of updates that add some substantial content to the game. The goods news is that Dark Urge players will finally get a few new resolutions for their evil misdeeds soon.

Speaking to IGN in a recent interview, Larian Studios director Swen Vincke confirmed that more evil endings are coming. “So, they’re working on the evil endings right now,” he said. “I’ve seen some of them. They’re really evil. So, the evil players will be satisfied with that.”

One of the biggest complaints from players who tackled evil playthroughs is the lack of proper resolutions or endings for their diabolical journeys. In many ways, the Dark Urge adds a hefty amount of content and story that isn’t included in a regular playthrough, which many players feel might be the closest to a “canon” story in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, doing an evil run on a regular journey doesn’t have the most fulfilling evil outcomes, especially for those looking to create a villain instead of a hero.

It’s good to know that new evil endings are on its way, showing Larian’s commitment to keeping the updates rolling in to improve the game, even though the studio is shying away from any big DLC or expansions.

In other news, future updates planned for Baldur’s Gate 3 include cross-platform mod support, which will allow console players to add mods to the game in the same way that PC players have access to them. Larian Studios says that this update is still being worked on but it’s scheduled to arrive before the end of the year.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
