Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Release Date and Details Leak

Ubisoft has seemingly let the cat out of the bag on its new Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope game. The company accidently listed the game’s release date on the official site before an announcement and published details on the Gold Edition which contains extra content and a season pass.

According to the official Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope site, the game is set to launch on 20 October 2022 for Nintendo Switch. The game will come in two versions including the Standard Edition and Gold Edition.

The Standard Edition is just the base game but the Gold Edition includes some extra content. There will be a season pass for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope which will include additional story content featuring new heroes, quests and battles.

Those who purchase the Gold Edition will also gain access to the Galactic Prestige Pack that comes with three exclusive and “supremely stylish” weapon skins for your team. These skins will be available from the start of the game.

Ubisoft has yet to share specific gameplay details on Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. The game was announced back in 2021 during the company’s June showcase event. It is the second game in the series and follows Nintendo’s Super Mario cast along with Ubisoft’s popular Rabbid characters as they set off on an adventure to free each planet from a strange evil influence.

Given the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is set to launch relatively soon, I am sure some new details on the game will be unveiled in the coming weeks. In the meantime, catch up on the previous trailer below.
