We are likely never going to see another Rayman game as great as Origins and Legends again so Ubisoft is making up for it by giving us Rayman as a supporting character in Mario + Rabbids DLC. The DLC was announced last year before the launch of the Nintendo Switch game and fans have been eagerly waiting to experience it. Now you can.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Rayman in the Phanton Show is now out on Nintendo Switch. It is included in the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Gold Edition but can also be purchased separately.

Ubisoft released a launch trailer for the new DLC which gives you a quick look at what you’ll be doing in the game. The trailer is voiced by Phantom as he explains what’s going on. Phantom is apparently struggling to get viewers to tune into his TV platform and recruits Rayman to compete in various battlefields.
Rayman is back! And he is the special guest in a new mysterious dimension: the Phantom’s Opera network studio. The Phantom, the charismatic ghostly boss of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, is also coming back and asking for help to improve his channel’s ratings.
The trailer reveals Rayman has some special skills in his arsenal. There are some familiar attacks that fans of the character will remember too.
Keep in mind that this DLC takes place outside of the Sparks of Hope story and can be launched at any time from the game’s main menu. So if you’re just picking up Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope for Rayman, you can play DLC alone.
I highly recommend you give the entire game a go though. As a full, complete package now, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is even better than it was at launch last year. I reviewed the game and it was likely one of the best Switch games of 2022.
