Ubisoft is kicking off the E3 2021 celebrations next week on 12 June with its annual Ubisoft Forward stream. The company has confirmed that the celebrations will play host to many of its new Ubisoft Originals titles including Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Riders Republic and more. In addition, Ubisoft also teased new announcements for many of its current games such as Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion and even The Crew 2.
On the official Ubisoft Forward announcement post, the company sounds as if they plan on showing love to all of the games we can’t wait to see especially those which are still coming our way later this year. Ubisoft says they plan on re-introducing Rainbow Six Quarantine as a new name, showing off Far Cry 6 in an action-packed demo and there are even some TV and movie announcements coming our way.
All eyes are on Ubisoft this year especially after the company’s rather abysmal first half of the year. Ubisoft initially planned on having three major releases take place before April 2021. This included Far Cry 6, Riders Republic and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake. However, all these games were delayed and only Far Cry 6 has a release date. The Ubisoft Forward event will no doubt play host to release dates and more for all the game we never got to play.
The main show kicks off at 12 PM PT, featuring big announcements, updates on some of Ubisoft’s live titles, and some surprises that you won’t want to miss. Catch all the details about the next mainline entry in the Rainbow Six franchise, formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, with world premiere gameplay and trailers revealing this brand-new co-op title for the first time. Dive into the island paradise of Yara with Far Cry 6, and discover the action-packed adventures that await you in a nation under the heel of dictator Antón Castillo, played by Giancarlo Esposito.
Users can tune into the Ubisoft Forward event starting at 20:00. The show is live from ubisoft.com/Forward. Find out more here.
