Ubisoft originally had a stellar 2021 lineup. By now, the studio should have released Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Riders Republic and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake. However, nothing released as Ubisoft was forced to delay its entire lineup due to development issues surrounding covid-19. Even with all the delays, Ubisoft is still confident they will have a big year ahead. During its latest earnings call, the company says that there are many games coming our way before the end of April 2022.
According to Ubisoft, Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine are both set to arrive by April 2022. While rumours claim these games will arrive by September 2021, don’t get your hopes up just yet. Ubisoft also says that The Division: Heartland, its new free-to-play shooter will also arrive before April 2022. However, it is not all good news. Skull and Bones has been delayed yet again and won’t see a release this fiscal year. Instead, the pirate game is slated for release between April 2022 and 2023.

Even with all these delays, Ubisoft’s Yves Guillemot, Co-Founder and CEO of the company says that the studio’s lineup is the most diverse they have ever had:
“Our FY22 line-up will be the most diversified we have ever had, with ambitious post-launch plans as well as premium and F2P new releases. Our financial targets reflect these growth initiatives which are intended to generate significant value over the long term.”
With a Ubisoft Forward event scheduled for E3 2021, users will most likely see a load of game updates for the company’s entire lineup of titles. We will also see release dates for a handful of games too including Far Cry 6, Riders Republic and the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake. The event is set to kick off on 12 June 2021.
