Xbox Series X Diablo 4 Special Edition Console Leaked

A special edition Xbox Series X console themed around Diablo 4 has seemingly been leaked. The console will apparently launch alongside the game this June and contain a slightly higher price point than a regular Xbox Series X. According to the leaker, it doesn’t seem like this edition will come bundled with the game, though.

Renowned leaker billbil-kun, who is known for leaking PlayStation Plus lineups ahead of any official announcements, claims that Microsoft is working on a Diablo 4-themed Xbox Series X console set to launch on 6 June with the game. The console will reportedly be priced at $559,99 which is $60 more than what a standard Xbox Series X costs. The leaker doesn’t believe it will contain the full game since there’s no mention of the word “bundle” in the listing. No design for the console was posted.

Diablo franchise boss Rod Fergusson previously stated that Blizzard Entertainment has no intentions of adding Diablo 4 to Xbox Game Pass despite the current ongoing fiasco with Microsoft’s takeover of Activision Blizzard. If it does go through, we can probably expect plenty of Activision Blizzard’s published titles to appear on Xbox’s subscription service but fans shouldn’t hold out hope for Diablo 4 appearing in the library, at least not any time soon.

The Diablo 4 early access and open betas took place over the last two weekends. Despite some troublesome server issues, most players were able to hop online and experience the game before it launches in a couple of months, reaching a level 25 cap and exploring the first massive region of the game, Fractured Peaks. The five classes – Barbarian, Sorcerer, Rogue, Druid and Necromancer – were all available in the open beta. If you’re still unsure about which class to pick, read our handy guide here.

The full map of Diablo 4 recently surfaced online showing how small the beta area is compared to the rest of the overworld. Players are in for a massive action-RPG that could take well over 100 hours to fully explore.

Diablo 4 launches on 6 June 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
