New Elden Ring DLC Details Datamined From Patch 1.07

Elden Ring, From Software and George R.R. Martin’s acclaimed open-world RPG that released earlier this year, is potentially due for some DLC or expansion. The developer has been quiet regarding new content being added to the game, though there’s been enough evidence so far to suggest that we’ll be getting DLC sooner rather than later. However, new info has been datamined from the latest patch 1.07, which reveals new bosses, weapons and much more.

According to dataminer SekiroDubi, some DLC information was found within the files of Elden Ring‘s latest 1.07 patch. Apparently, it will feature new hair, six new (unnamed) weapon categories and new AI goals. The datamine also revealed new legacy dungeon related map files, new Colosseum map files (suggesting some kind of gauntlet-style addition), and map changes made at most Divine Towers.

The information doesn’t end there, though. The dataminer continues by stating that From Software left room for 30 flags in the section where boss flags are declared. This is possibly hinting at the DLC having around 30 new bosses, though it could also be less than that. Finally, 16 NPC entries were added in files called “Someone Yet Unseen.”

These details follow another datamine that happened in October, which unveiled a ton of new information including the potential addition of two new areas, raytracing and more.

Fans speculate that since fresh information is already being unearthed from Elden Ring‘s latest patch, it could mean that From Software is close to completion on the DLC. It might also be announced at Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards this year, where it’s sure to be a Game of the Year contender among other categories. As it stands, Elden Ring is the highest-rated video game of the year according to critics and fans.

Elden Ring is currently available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
