Rick and Morty Season 7 Trailer Introduces New Voices

Season 7 of Rick and Morty is around the corner and ahead of its release, Adult Swim has debuted a new trailer which introduces us to the new voices of the titular characters, replacing series co-creator and actor Justin Roiland following his domestic violence charges earlier this year.

Since Roiland is not reprising his role as Rick, Morty and a number of other characters on the show, season 7 will feature new voice actors who are pretty good at imitating his voices. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t named who the actors are that will be replacing Roiland on the series, though most fans seem to think they do a great job with the voice work. We’ll find out their identities closer to the season’s release.

Adult Swim also revealed that season 7 of Rick and Morty will debut on 15 October 2023. As the trailer reveals, we’re in for a lot of world-hopping and multiverse shenanigans that promises more classic Rick and Morty adventures. While Roiland won’t be joining the cast this season, other veteran actors make their return including Chris Parnell as Jerry, Spencer Grammer as Summer and Sarah Chalke as Beth.

Earlier this year, Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland was charged with domestic violence, leading Adult Swim and the producers to drop him from the show. The trial lasted for a few months but his charges were cleared in March, though the company didn’t rehire him and instead, opted to use imitators to replace his voice work as Rick and Morty. Since the charges for Roiland were cleared, there has been some debate online about whether or not he should be reinstated on the show.

Season 7 received its first teaser trailer last month which mostly played out like a music video so it didn’t give fans an idea of what the new actors sounded like until now.

Rick and Morty season 7 debuts on 15 October. Check out the latest trailer below:
