SEGA has announced a robust post-launch roadmap for Sonic Frontiers with more content coming to the game in 2023 across three content drops. The content aims to add more things to do in the game alongside skins, modes, features and more. SEGA says that all the content coming to Sonic Frontiers is free for all owners of the game.
The 2023 content roadmap is divided into three packs across three so-called “updates”. The first update will include the game’s photo mode, new challenge modes and a…. Juke Box. The second update will add a birthday celebration for the Sonic series, “Open Zone Challenge” and New Koco. The last update claims to include new playable characters and new story chapters.
By the look of things, the last update is likely the one you’ll want to stick around for. The rest seems to be pointless features that should have been in the game in the first place. SEGA is also releasing a free Holiday Cheer Suit DLC to Sonic Frontiers that’ll add a Christmas outfit to Sonic. The content will release on 21 December 2022.
