The first trailer for Netflix Witcher series dropped at San Diego Comic Con this morning and it is our first look at the upcoming adventure series based on the best-selling novel by Andrzej Sapkowski. Check out the fantastic trailer down below;

The trailer is quite detailed and reveals more characters, monsters and of course shows off Geralt, Yenneffer, and Ciri quite a lot. If there is one tone being played during the trailer, it is very serious but hopefully, Geralt’s inner comedian comes out during the show.
If you watch carefully, you will notice the trailer touches on a few themes; the clash between elves and humans, Geralt’s hunting expertise, Ciri possibly exploring her powers with the help of a magical tree, and some rather epic battles.
The trailer is not short of showcasing the upcoming show’s best moments and after watching it, we are ready to binge the entire season in one day.
The Netflix Witcher show stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as sorceress Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri. Both Anya and Freya are newcomers to the world of TV and the show will act as their acting debut. As for Henry Cavill, we know him as Superman and many other roles on the big screen.
Now we just have to wait for the Netflix Witcher show to get a release date but we know the show plans on releasing before the end of 2019. Netflix has yet to give us a release date for the first season but the trailer dropping could mean sometime soon.
