The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is set to release on 14 May on PS4, Xbox One and PC. If you’re wondering just how drastically different the trilogy is compared to the original game then BioWare has a new trailer you should watch. The latest Mass Effect Legendary Edition comparison trailer does exactly what the title says, it compares the upcoming remaster to the classics.
Not only do we get to see some of the reworked 4K textures, assets, new environmental effects and rendering methods in action but the Mass Effect Legendary Edition comparison trailer also touches on the methods BioWare took in order to rework the rendering pipeline for the game.

While many may argue that the game has not seen an incredible amount of changes, the trailer does a great job showcasing the smaller details which you will probably miss. This is especially present across the 3D models and reworked textures. Of course, the trailer focuses more on the original remaster than the other two games. Of which, BioWare claims have received less attention due to their already-polished visuals.
